Sweden's central bank keeps -0.5 pct interest rate

Sweden's Riksbank has said it will leave the negative repo rate alone and postpone raising it until the middle of 2018, according to a statement issued on the bank's website on Thursday.
The reason for leaving the rate unchanged is that inflation has been slower than anticipated, in part due to the relatively low wage increases, the statement said.
The Riksbank also said that it intends to increase its purchase of state bonds by almost 1.7 billion U.S. dollars, the statement said.
"The Swedish economy is growing stronger, but the Riksbank anticipates it will take longer for inflation to stabilize at around 2.0 percent," the statement said. Endit
