Paris CAC 40 index up 0.17 pct Tuesday

The French stock market index, the CAC 40, gained 0.17 percent and closed at 5,277.88 points on Tuesday.

The CAC 40 of Paris closed higher on Tuesday, up 9.03 points, with 21 of the 40 selected companies experiencing increase.

The top three gainers were LVMH, up 3.94 percent, Kering, up 1.21 percent, and Unibail-Rodamco, up 1.01 percent.

The companies whose stock prices dropped the most were Engie S.A, down 1.45 percent, Technipfmc, down 1.34 percent, and Pernod-Ricard, down 1.25 percent.

In the previous trading day, the CAC 40 gained 4.14 percent to close at 5,268.85 points on Monday, up 209.65 points. Endit
