German benchmark DAX index closes flat Tuesday

The benchmark DAX index at Frankfurt Stock Exchange on Tuesday closed at 12467.04 points with a mere gain of 12.06 points or 0.10 percent.

German industrial giant Thyssenkrupp gained the most among the blue chips, whose share went up by 2.97 percent, followed by pharmaceutical company and housing association Vonovia by winning 2.30 percent and 1.39 percent respectively.

Continental, RWE and Fresenius were the top three losers today, whose shares lost 2.51 percent, 1.99 percent and 0.99 percent respectively.

Daimler was the most traded share with a turnover of 328.05 million euros (about 357.27 million U.S. dollars). Endit
