Cremation ceremony for late Thai king set for October

The cremation ceremony for late King Bhumibol Adulyadej of Thailand has been scheduled for Oct. 26, said Athisit Chainuwat, assistant government spokesperson on Tuesday.

The royal ceremony for the late king, according to the Thai government's official website, will be held from Oct. 25 till Oct. 29 with the cremation scheduled for Oct. 26.

The revered late king passed away last October after reigning Thailand for 70 years.

His son, Maha Vajiralongkorn, ascended the throne last December. Endit
