Clippers' Austin Rivers expected to play in Game 5

Xinhua, April 25, 2017 Adjust font size:

Los Angeles Clippers guard Austin Rivers is expected to play in Game 5 against the Utah Jazz on Tuesday.

According to league sources, Rivers will play on a minutes restriction. Rivers strained his left hamstring on March 29 in a game against the Washington Wizards. He then was out the remaining six games of the regular season and the first four games of the playoffs.

"I think he's going to play, at least that's what we think right now. The problem is they're going to put a severe minute restriction on him," Clippers head coach Doc Rivers said.

Austin Rivers averaged a career-high 12 points per game on a true shooting percentage of 54.5 percent this season. Endit
