Nasdaq posts record close after first round of French election

U.S. stocks closed sharply higher on Monday as investors cheered the results of the first round of French election, with Nasdaq hitting all-time high.

The Dow rose 1.05 percent, the S&P 500 added 1.08 percent, while the Nasdaq increased 1.24 percent. Endit
