The following are news highlights in major Kenyan media outlets on Monday.

-- Most Kenyans will readily accept the outcome of the August elections, new survey shows. The study shows that 89 percent of respondents agreed that no matter who wins the presidency fairly, Kenyans will accept the results.

Pollster attributed the outlook to the fact that Kenyans have learned from their past mistakes and do not want a repeat of post-election violence. The poll further showed 73 percent of Kenyans have confidence in electoral commission. (Daily Nation)
