Xinhua, April 23, 2017 Adjust font size:

Heavy rain will hit parts of China's southern regions from Monday to Wednesday, said the country's national observatory Sunday.

The National Meteorological Center (NMC) forecast heavy rain in most parts of south China, with parts of Sichuan, Jiangxi, Guangdong and Hunan expecting rainstorms in the next three days.

These regions will see rainstorms with precipitation of up to 200millimeters, said the NMC.

The center warned local authorities and residents to take precautions against flooding and geological disasters. Endit
