British stocks decrease slightly Friday

The FTSE 100 Index, Britain's benchmark stock market gauge, slipped by a marginal 0.06 percent, or 3.99 points, to 7,114.55 points on Friday.

The share price of Babcock International Group increased by 2.61 percent, topping the gainers of the blue chips. Associated British Foods, Marks & Spencer Group, ConvaTec Group and CRH increased by 1.96 percent, 1.92 percent, 1.72 percent and 1.23 percent respectively.

Anglo American led the top losers of the blue chips with a share price drop of 1.67 percent, followed by Johnson Matthey (1.55 percent), Rentokil Initial (1.32 percent), Hikma Pharmaceuticals (1.30 percent) and Fresnillo (1.25 percent). Endit
