Paris CAC 40 index downs 0.37 pct on Friday

French stock market index, the CAC 40, dropped 0.37 percent and closed at 5,059.20 points on Friday.

The CAC 40 of Paris dropped 18.17 points on Friday, with 13 of the 40 selected companies experiencing increase.

The top three gainers were VEOLIA ENVIRONNEMENT, up 2.91 percent, MICHELIN, up 2.52 percent, and BNP PARIBAS, up 2.23 percent.

The three companies whose stock dropped most were DANONE, down 2.45 percent, ATOS, down 2.19 percent, and TECHNIPFMC (FTI), down 2.11 percent.

In the previous trading day, the CAC 40 gained 1.48 percent to close at 5,077.91 points, up 74.18 points. Endit
