Chen Min'er elected Guizhou Party chief

Chen Min'er was elected Communist Party of China (CPC) chief of southwest China's Guizhou Province on Thursday at a plenary session of the provincial CPC committee.

Chen was born in the city of Zhuji in east China's Zhejiang Province in September 1960. He was appointed Guizhou Party chief in July 2015.

Sun Zhigang and Shen Yiqin were elected deputy Party chiefs of Guizhou. Endi
