German benchmark DAX index loses 108.56 points Tuesday

The benchmark DAX index at Frankfurt Stock Exchange on Tuesday lost 108.56 points or 0.90 percent, closed at 12000.44 points.

Industry giant Thyssenkrupp lost the most among the blue chips, whose share went down by 2.77 percent, followed by Pharmacy company Bayer and energy group RWE by losing 2.21 percent and 2.18 percent respectively

Volkswagen, Fresenius Medical and Continental were the top three winners today, whose shares gained 4.42 percent, 0.04 percent and 0.03 percent respectively.

Volkswagen was the most traded share with a turnover of 351.54 million euros (about 375.51 million U.S. dollars). Enditem
