Paris CAC 40 index downs 1.59 pct on Tuesday

French stock market index, the CAC 40, dropped 1.59 percent and closed at 4,990.25 points on Tuesday.

One of the 40 selected companies experienced increase. The only gainer was Renault, up 0.06 percent.

The three companies whose stock dropped most were ARCELORMITTAL, down 6.18 percent, CARREFOUR, down 4.20 percent, and VALEO, down 2.94 percent.

In the previous trading day, the CAC 40 dropped 0.59 percent to close at 5,071.10 points, down 30.01 points. Endit
