Xinhua, April 18, 2017 Adjust font size:

Li Zhanshu, a senior official of the Communist Party of China (CPC), will visit Russia from April 25 to 27, said Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lu Kang on Tuesday.

Li, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, member of the Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee, and director of the General Office of the CPC Central Committee, will hold talks with Russian presidential administration chief Anton Vaino, Lu said.

They will discuss how to better serve engagement between the two heads of state, and implementation of the consensus reached by the two heads of state, Lu said.

During Li's stay in Russia, he will also meet Russian leaders, Lu added.

"We believe this trip will further enhance the political mutual trust between the two countries, and inject new impetus for the bilateral relations," Lu said. Endi
