1 died, 37 injured in road traffic accident in northern Russia

One person died and 37 others were injured in a road accident in northern Russia's Komi Republic, according to a local media report Monday.

BNK News Agency reports that the accident occurred at 10:46 a.m. local time on Monday when the "Ural" truck and the "PAZ" bus collided on the local route Usogorsk-Koslan.

The bus driver died on the spot and 18 injured people were receiving hospital treatment, the news agency reported.

According to the preliminary investigation, the truck driver drove to a contraflow lane, causing the accident. Endit
