A man was arrested by police in the French city of Nice Sunday after he entered a church uttering threatening words, the regional newspaper Nice Matin reported.

The church was evacuated, according to the report.

KABUL -- Afghan President Ashraf Ghani met with visiting U.S. National Security Adviser H. R. McMaster on Sunday, discussing the security situation and bilateral ties, the Afghan Presidential Palace said in a statement.

NEW DELHI -- Two people were killed and five others critically wounded in an accidental blast at a scrap dealer's shop in northern Indian state of Punjab, police said Sunday.

The blast went off in the shop on Gurdaspur-Behrampur road about 79 km northeast of Amritsar, the Sikh holy city in Punjab. (India-Blast)

MOGADISHU -- Several people are feared dead in multiple explosions near Aden Adde Airport in Somalia capital Mogadishu on Sunday, witnesses and security officials said.

ANKARA -- Three people were killed on Sunday during an exchange of gunfire at a referendum polling station in Turkey's southeastern province of Diyarbakir.

The clash occurred between two groups due to differing political views in a schoolyard, which is used as a polling station, Dogan News Agency has reported. (Turkey-Referendum-Gunfire) Endi
