Xinhua, April 16, 2017 Adjust font size:

Rain will hit parts of China's southern and northeastern regions from Sunday night to Monday, said the country's national observatory Sunday.

The National Meteorological Center (NMC) forecast medium to heavy rain in most parts of south China, with parts of Hunan, Jiangxi and Yunnan expecting rainstorms from Sunday night to Monday.

From Sunday night to Tuesday, light to medium rain is in parts of Liaoning, Jilin and Heilongjiang in northeast China, said the NMC.

Two cold fronts will travel across parts of north China from Monday to Thursday, bringing lower temperatures and strong wind.

Sand storms have been forecast for parts of Inner Mongolia, Xinjiang and some other northern regions in the next four days, said the NMC. Endi
