Chinese shares fall on Friday

Chinese stocks fell on Friday, following declines on other Asian markets, with investors nervous about growing geopolitical uncertainty over the Korean Peninsula nuclear issue.

The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index declined 0.91 percent at 3,246.07 points. The Shenzhen Component Index dropped 1.26 percent at 10,519.86 points.

The ChiNext Index, China's NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, lost 1.2 percent to close at 1,887.46 points. Endi
