Benfica eye move for Brazilian striker Vizeu

Xinhua, April 14, 2017 Adjust font size:

Portuguese giants Benfica are in talks to sign highly rated Brazilian Felipe Vizeu, according to media reports.

Benfica representatives travelled to Brazil earlier this month to discuss financial terms with the Rio de Janeiro club, the Globo newspaper reported on Thursday.

Vizeu has scored five goals in 15 appearances for Flamengo and is a current member of Brazil's under-20 national team.

The 20-year-old has a release clause of 70 million euros written into his contract, which expires in December 2020, Globo said.

Chelsea and Juventus are also said to be interested in signing the Brazilian during the upcoming European summer transfer window. Endit
