Signal of Indonesia's missing cargo plane detected

Rescuers have detected the signal from a cargo plane which lost contact on Wednesday in Indonesia's Papua province, authorities said on Thursday.

The signal was located in Oksibil but the rescuers flying there could not reached the area, spokesman of the national search and rescue office named only Marsudi told Xinhua by phone.

The spokesman confirmed that only a pilot was aboard the C208 Caravan plane. Endit
