Urgent: China's Q1 exports up 14.8 pct, imports up 31.1 pct

China's exports in yuan-denominated terms rose 14.8 percent year on year in the first quarter, while imports increased 31.1 percent, customs data showed Thursday.

Foreign trade volume reached 6.2 trillion yuan (about 902.47 billion U.S. dollars) in the first quarter, up 21.8 percent year on year. Endi
