Hong Kong stocks closed up 225.04 points, or 0.93 percent to 24,313.50 points on Wednesday.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index traded between 23,994.13 and 24,313.50. Turnover totaled 71.839 billion Hong Kong dollars (about 9.245 billion U.S. dollars). Endit
