Esteghlal held by Lokomotiv in ACL competitions

Esteghlal of Iran was held to a 1-1 draw by Uzbekistan's Lokomotiv in Tashkent on Tuesday, Tasnim news agency reported.

Marat Bikmaev gave Lokomotiv the lead 13 minutes into the game before Kaveh Rezaei scored the equalizer for Esteghlal with three minutes remaining.

Iran moved on to seven points from four matches and kept a three-point lead over the club from Tashkent with two games remaining in Group A.

However, the Uzbek side kept its hopes alive in the next phase of this year's AFC Champions League. Endit
