Gong Zheng appointed acting governor of Shandong

Gong Zheng was appointed vice governor and acting governor of east China's Shandong Province on Tuesday.

The decision was announced at a session of the standing committee of the provincial people's congress.

Gong, who was born in 1960, graduated from Xiamen University with a major in finance, according to an introduction from the official website of the Shandong provincial government.

Gong has worked with the General Administration of Customs. He was vice governor of Zhejiang Province in east China before moving to Shandong in 2015. Endi
