Hong Kong stocks close 0.72 pct lower

Hong Kong stocks closed down 173.72 points, or 0.72 percent to 24,088.46 points on Tuesday.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index traded between 24,007.85 and 24,318.15. Turnover totaled 76.808 billion Hong Kong dollars (about 9.885 billion U.S. dollars). Endit
