One people was killed and 20 others wounded in the hot air balloon accident in Cappadocia of central Turkey early Sunday, local private broadcaster NTV reported.

According to the initial information, the balloon hit electric wires due to strong winds during descending.

On March 14, a total of 49 tourists were wounded after hot air balloons made an emergency landing due to winds in Nevsehir district of Cappadocia.
