Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) tied 1:1 at home on Friday with the Netherlands in the second round of the Davis Cup competition.

Dutch Robin Haase defeated Mirza Basic 3-1 in the first match, with a score of 6-4, 6-2, 5-7, 6-3.

In the first set, both players were holding their serves until the Dutch, ranked 48th on the ATP list, broke for 5-3 and cruised for a 2-0 lead with a 6-2 second set.

Led by the positive cheer from tribunes, Basic played much better in the third set to pull one set back, but Haase broke early in the fourth for the victory.

"I have started well, when we exchanged punches. After the second set, Mirza played better, and it was difficult," said Haase.

Damir Dzumhur leveled it by 1-1 after beating Dutch Thiemo de Bekker, 6-2, 6-2, 6-2. Endit
