U.S. dollar rises against other major currencies

The U.S. dollar climbed against other major currencies on Friday as data showed the country's unemployment rate declined.

In late New York trading, the euro fell to 1.0586 dollars from 1.0644 dollars, while the dollar bought 111.29 Japanese yen, higher than 110.86 yen in the previous session. Endit
