Dollar changes hands in upper 110 yen zone in early trade in Tokyo

The U.S. dollar changed hands in the upper 110 yen zone in early deals in Tokyo Friday morning, basically unchanged from levels seen overnight in New York.

As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 110.89-90 yen compared with 110.75-85 yen in New York and 110.51-53 yen at 5 p.m. in Tokyo on Tuesday.

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.0643-0643 dollars and 118.02-09 yen against 1.0639-0649 dollars and 117.81-91 yen in New York and 1.0645-0647 dollars and 117.64-68 yen in late Thursday afternoon trade in Tokyo. Endit
