Tusk, May meet in London after triggering of Brexit

European Union Council President Donald Tusk met Prime Minister Theresa May for talks Thursday at 10 Downing Street.

It was the first time the two met since May triggered article 50 last week to begin the process for Britain to leave the EU.

Tusk smiled to waiting media as he left Number 10, but gave no clues about what the pair had discussed in their private 90-minute meeting.

May's letter declaring Britain's decision to leave the EU was delivered to Tusk in Brussels last Wednesday. Enditem
