-- A "holding hands" picket outside Parliament on Thursday will mark the start of several protests against President Jacob Zuma.

Capetonians plan to form a human chain to St George's Cathedral, in the first of several protests planned over the next few days to call for Zuma to resign, to prevent him from doing further damage to the country's economy. (News24)

-- Even with ratings agency Moody's saying they will review South Africa only in the next month or two instead of on Friday, the country is still likely to be downgraded by all rating agencies. This is the view of economist Mike Schussler.

On Monday night ratings agency S&P made an earlier than expected move and downgraded SA's foreign currency debt to "junk status". (Fin24)

-- Members of the Save SA group say they will not be deterred from expressing their views regarding the state of politics in South Africa.

This comes after a pro-Zuma group threatened them with violence while meeting to finalize arrangements for Friday's march to the Union buildings at the Church Square in Pretoria. (South African Broadcasting Coroporation) Endit
