Spanish stock market rises 0.40 pct

Spain's benchmark stock market index Ibex-35 rose 0.40 percent on Wednesday to close at 10,402.70 points, up from the 10,361.20 points of Tuesday.

On Wednesday session, ACS shares led rises climbing 2.45 percent, followed by Banco Sabadell, Acerinox, Repsol, R.E.C. and Merlin that rose 2.04 percent, 1.88 percent, 1.81 percent, 1.62 percent and 1.42 percent respectively.

On the other hand, Gamesa shares led falls losing 3.42 percent, followed by Grifols, Cellnex, Inditex, Telefonica and Bankia that lost 0.83 percent, 0.68 percent, 0.53 percent, 0.29 percent and 0.28 percent respectively.

Meanwhile, Spain's ten-year bond interest rate closed at 1.63 percent and Spain's risk premium closed at 138 points, both showing no big differences when compared with Tuesday closing time. Endit
