Urgent: European Parliament votes for resolution on Brexit talks

An overwhelming majority of lawmakers voted Wednesday in favor of a resolution officially laying down the European Parliament's key principles and conditions for its approval of the United Kingdom's withdrawal agreement.

And any such agreement at the end of UK-EU negotiations will need to win the approval of the European Parliament, said the parliament in a statement following the vote. Endit
