DPRK calls South Korean security report "fig leaf" to cover up inferiority

Xinhua, April 4, 2017 Adjust font size:

The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) on Tuesday called a security report recently released by South Korea as "fig leaf" to cover up its inferiority and vulnerability.

The official daily of the Korean Workers' Party, Rodong Sinmum, said in a commentary that the South Korean report claimed that "the worst security crisis is being created due to the North's modernization of nuclear weapons and missiles at a high level."

"Traitor Hwang Kyo Ahn, acting 'president' of South Korea, ministers of the puppet administration and riff-raffs called experts on diplomacy and security gathered in Seoul recently to hold what they called a 'people's meeting,'" it said.

"They were so ridiculous as to vociferate about countermeasures against it," said the commentary.

It also called the report "a product of their cynical ploy to justify the moves for invading the North and doing harm to the fellow countrymen in the North by force of arms in league with foreign force."

"The report much touted by the puppet forces is nothing but fig leaf to cover up their military inferiority and vulnerability, taken aback by the tremendous military muscle of the DPRK," it said. Endi
