Dollar changes hands in lower 111 yen range in early trade in Tokyo

The U.S. dollar changed hands in the lower 111 yen range in early deals on Monday in Tokyo, largely in line with levels seen at the end of last week in New York.

As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 111.28-29 yen compared with 111.35-45 yen in New York and 111.79-81 yen at 5 p.m. on Friday in Tokyo.

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.0669-0669 and 118.72-73 yen against 1.0648-0658 dollars and 118.64-74 yen in New York and 1.0691-0692 dollars and 119.52-56 yen late Friday afternoon in Tokyo. Endit
