Shandong Luneng top CSL standings with three straight wins

Papiss Demba Cisse scored twice on Sunday, helping Shandong Luneng beat Changchun Yatai 2-0 in the third round of 2017 season of the Chinese Super League (CSL) .
After snatching three consecutive victories, Shandong climbed to the top of the standings.
The 31-year-old Senegalese broke the deadlock with his heel in the 59th minute. After 23 minutes, the striker earned his second goal of the match by a volley-shot in the box.
The victory made Shandong the bellwether but sent Yatai to the bottom.
In Beijing Workers' Stadium, Beijing Guoan enjoyed their eighth consecutive home win over Shanghai Greenland. Guoan's Turkish striker Burak Yilmaz threw his fans into frenzy in the 36th minute, but Chinese international Cao Yuding made the equalizer before the half time whistle.
Guoan's defender Jin Pengxiang slipped in the 38th minute when trying to receive its goalkeeper Yang Zhi's pass, Cao took the chance to bring the game into a struggle.
In the 87th minute, Yilmaz terminated the suspense of the game with a skillful shot, after receiving Yu Dabao's heading pass. Greenland's Carlos Tevez did two bad corner-kicks in the injury time, leading his team to the first loss in the season.
In the other games played on Sunday, Liaoning Shenyang Carsing defeated Jiangsu Suning 3-1, and Tianjin Teda tamed Chongqing Lifan 2-0. Endit
