Xinhua, April 2, 2017 Adjust font size:

Rain is forecast in southwest China over the Tomb-sweeping holiday.

Over the next few days, heavy rain will strike areas in Tibet and Yunnan, while other regions, including Sichuan, Hubei and Guangxi, will have light to medium rain, according to the National Meteorological Center.

Some areas of Xinjiang, Inner Mongolia, Qinghai and Tibet will have light snow or sleet. Gales are expected in Xinjiang.

Other parts of the country will be clear or cloudy.

The center warned of flooding and geological disasters in rain-battered areas and the risks of forest fires in the country's northern regions. Endi
