The following are news in Kenyan media outlets on Friday.

-- President Uhuru Kenyatta's government crafts a "win for all" budget to spur consumption, woo investors and promote local goods. The budget waives import taxes on maize for the next four months and removes value added tax on bread and maize flour, a move that will bring down cost of the items by 16 percent. The government in the election budget also exempted employees earning 130 U.S. dollars and below from taxation. (Daily Nation)
