Belgian royal couple visit Denmark

The Belgian royal couple King Philippe and Queen Mathilde kicked off their three-day state visit to Denmark on Tuesday.

The couple were received by Danish royal families led by Queen Margrethe II at Amalienborg Palaces.

Accompanied by an official delegation and representatives of 37 companies, the royal couple's visit aims to further strengthen bilateral ties.

The visit will focus on themes including sustainable development, renewable energy, health and transport logistics.

King Philippe was sworn in as the new Belgian king in 2013 after the abdication of his father Albert II. Endit
