Paris CAC 40 index gains 0.57 pct

French stock market index, the CAC 40, gained 0.57 percent and closed at 5,046.20 points on Tuesday.

The CAC 40 of Paris closed higher on Tuesday, up 7.63 points, with 32 of the 40 selected companies experiencing increase.

The top three gainers were Credit Agricole, up 3.80 percent, BNP Paribas, up 2.58 percent, and Accor, up 2.43 percent.

The three companies of which stock prices dropped most were Danone, down 1.39 percent, Nokia, down 1.15 percent, and Unibail-Rodamco, down 1.15 percent.

In the previous trading day, the CAC 40 dropped 0.07 percent to close at 5,017.43 points on Monday, down 3.47 points. Endit
