Russia to finance railway wagon manufacture in Iran

Industrial Development and Renovation Organization of Iran signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Russia's Transmashholding to build railway wagons in Iran, Tehran Times daily reported on Tuesday.

The agreement was signed in Moscow on Monday, the report said.

According to the MoU, Russia will finance the wagon manufacturing in Iran.

Both sides will cooperate in manufacturing passenger and cargo wagons, the report said. Endit
