Dollar changes hands in mid-110 yen zone in early trade in Tokyo

The U.S. dollar changed hands in the mid-110 yen range in early deals in Tokyo on Monday morning, down from levels seen most recently in New York.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 110.53-54 yen compared with 111.33-43 yen in New York and 111.33-35 yen at 5 p.m. on Friday in Tokyo.

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.0846-0847 dollars and 119.88-89 yen against 1.0793-0803 dollars and 120.18-28 yen in New York and 1.0772-0774 dollars and 119.93-97 yen in late Friday afternoon trade in Tokyo. Endit
