-- South African President Jacob Zuma will not suspend National Director of Public Prosecutions Shaun Abrahams.

Neither will he suspend North Gauteng Director of Public Prosecutions Advocate Sibongile Mzinyathi or Torie Pretorius, acting head of the Priority Crimes Litigation Unit, the Presidency said on Friday. (News24)

-- Growth in South Africa's wealthy population over the past decade was a dismal 8 percent, according to a report.

The Wealth Report by New World Wealth revealed that South Africa's ultra-high net worth individuals (UHNWI) population growth is the second lowest, after Spain. The research looks at growth between 2006 and 2016. Spain's growth actually declined by 9 percent during the period. (Fin24)
