Rainfall to sweep south China

Xinhua, March 4, 2017 Adjust font size:

Parts of south China are forecast to be hit by rainfall while areas of north China will see lower temperatures in the next three days, said the country's national observatory Saturday.

From Saturday to Tuesday, most of south China will experience light rain, with parts of Zhejiang, Fujian, Jiangxi and Hunan provinces expecting heavy rain, said the National Meteorological Center (NMC).

Cloudy and rainy days will continue in parts of southwestern Yunnan, Tibet, Sichuan and Chongqing, said the NMC.

In most of north China, a weak cold front will bring temperatures down by 4 to 6 degrees Celsius during the three days, it said. Endi
