-- Berlin keeps being poverty-stricken despite a growing economy. Berlin's economy is expanding even above average. However, in the capital the number of the poor and needy citizens increased.
The facts were delivered by a study of the Cologne Institute for Economic Research (IW) in Cologne.

The German view on Europe is changing. In less than half a year, the acceptance of the European Union (EU) by the Germans has strongly improved. Only 21 percent see the EU negatively.
Also, the immigration subject is taken in a more relaxed way. Figures were published by the EU representation in Berlin.
