1st LD: Trump rolls out "America First" agenda for his four-year presidency

Xinhua, March 1, 2017 Adjust font size:

U.S. President Donald Trump on Tuesday night rolled out his "America First" agenda for his four-year presidency in his first speech at a joint session of Congress since inauguration.

He started the address by condemning hatred and violence, saying he tried "to deliver a message of unity and strength."

He then unveiled his "America First" agenda, vowing again that he will repeal and replace Obamacare "with better healthcare," develop tax reform "that will reduce the tax rate" on U.S. companies, and take strong actions against terrorism.

The speech isn't an official State of the Union, which will come next year. Endi
