Dollar changes hands in lower 112 yen zone in early trade in Tokyo

The U.S. dollar changed hands in the lower 112 yen range zone in early deals in Tokyo on Monday morning, rising from levels seen at the end of last week in New York.

As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 112.19-20 yen compared with 111.91-112.01 yen in New York and 112.72-73 yen at 5 p.m. on Friday in Tokyo.

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.0552-0557 dollars and 118.39-43 yen against 1.0560-0570 dollars and 118.40-50 yen in New York and 1.0595-0596 dollars and 119.43-47 yen in late Friday afternoon trade in Tokyo. Endit
