Clean sweep for Japan in Asiad ski jumping

Japan completed a clean sweep of three ski jumping titles at the Asian Winter Games here on Saturday.

Naoki Nakamura pulled off two big leaps to help Japan win the men's large hill team event by nearly 200 points, capturing his second gold in Sapporo.

Nakamura, who posted 132 and 133 meters, and his three teammates combined for 975.6 points at Okurayama Ski Jump Stadium.

Kazakhstan was a distant second with 771.0, with South Korea in third place with 726.3.

Japanese Yukiya Sato won the normal hill gold on Wednesday. Endit
