Number of tourists in BiH up 17.8 pct year-on-year in December

Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) received 73,181 tourists in December 2016, an increase of 17.8 percent year-on-year, figures from BiH's Agency for Statistics showed on Wednesday.

There were 137,967 overnight stays during the period, a 21 percent increase year-on-year, according to the data.

Of the overall number of recorded overnight stays, the number of domestic tourists accounted for 43.6 percent, whereas that of foreign tourists was 56.4 percent, the statistics agency said. Endit
