European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker on Tuesday warned that Britain would pay a "hefty" bill for its leaving out of the bloc.

Juncker made the remarks when delivering a speech at the Belgian parliament.

He pointed out that it would take years to reach an agreement on the future architecture of the relations between Britain and the European Union, according to reports.
